The machine basically consists of two opening sections , - the first section for bale breaking; - the section for additional opening and blending.
The first opening stage is equipped with a breaker roller, a fine opening roller and two stripping rollers. The breaker as well as the fine opening roller are equipped with welded teath in heavy steel construction.
The second opening stage has a horizontal, slightly inclined spiked apron and two opening rollers. The speed of the spiked apron is infinitely variable, - the distance between opening rollers and apron is adjustable.
Fibre supply is been carried out by an extended feed table in front of the machine. The fibre bale is opened in the machine by an opening and a fine opening roller.
The opening degree as well as the production capacity are determined by the gap between these two rollers. The distance can be adjusted by a gear motor during operation. Adjustment ist restricted by a limit switch to the top and the bottom.
The fibre material gets the first preopening by the breaker roller, - is taken upwards and gets a second opening by the fine opening roller. The surplus of fibre that has been taken upwards is thrown back to the opening process by the upper stripper roller.
The well opened fibre material passes between breaker and fine opener roller and is stripped off by the back strippring roller onto a conveyor belt in tubular steel construction.
The pre opened fibre material is been taken upwards by the spiked apron ,in the second opening stage. The surplus of fibre that cannot pass the gap between spiked lattice and the first opening roller, is thrown back to the preopened fibre. All well opened fibres are stripped of the lattice on its downwards movement by the back opening roller. The fibre drops into a suction funnel where it can be transported to the next opening stage.
